In terms of safety, the cot is padded and comes with mesh sides for increased ventilation, and its mattress is made from high-density foam for extra protection. It's also able to be cleaned to keep it clean. Additionally, it is fitted with a sheet that is suitable for the cot.
The Roomie Glide, unlike some other cribs for bed, is compatible with most beds including divans. This is due to the straps and clips which connect to it. It can be used as a stand-alone crib if it isn't attached to the bed. It is packed with wonderful features designed with parent and baby bonding in mind.
One thing to keep in mind is that although this crib is ideal for newborns, it won't last long once your baby turns six months old, and you will have to purchase an additional cot. Overall, Roanna felt that the Joie Roomie Glide was a very good purchase and she especially liked its sleek design.
John Lewis sells the Roomie Glide for PS160. Roanna thought this was a fair price for such a cot. She also liked how it appeared in the bedroom and believed that the grey color would suit most modern homes. However, she pointed out that it isn't a great idea to rock a younger baby as it could set the stage for bad habits that will affect later sleep patterns.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning crib for bed designed with a safe night's sleep in mind. It has a drop-side rail which can be easily lowered to feed your baby at night without having to disturb your baby or get up - it's ideal for breastfeeding mothers! It's also lightweight and easy to move around during naps or when traveling.
We love the fact that it's made of soft fabrics with breathable mesh sides that promote airflow and comfort. It's available in charcoal and oak and has a variety of melange fabrics that blend well with most decor styles. Anna found it to be solid and secure when it was attached to her bed, with the legs firmly snapping into place and the zips secure for baby-safety. It took Anna about 10 minutes to put it together and didn't require any tools. There are clear instructions as well as a video, and a customer support number if you experience any issues.

This is one of the more expensive options, but it has a wide array of features. It can be used either a side-sleeper or a standalone crib and is suitable for infants ranging from birth to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel thanks to a new mechanism. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height levels as well as retractable feet for a secure place under any bed.
Our testers were impressed with the simple access the side panel provides, which can be moved up and down with just one push of the button. This was a huge help during night time feeds as it meant that they could easily reach inside and pick up their baby without disturbing them.
The side panel can be lowered by itself, too however, it's not advised as it increases the chance of your child falling out of the cot. The patented safety locking system ensures that the side panel will only remain in place when it is connected correctly to the mattress of the parent. This feature is fantastic to have peace of mind when you breastfeed and require frequent nighttime feeds.

The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our test subjects, even with the lengthy instruction manual. It's a bit heavier than other side-sleepers, but it's very mobile and can be moved from room to room with ease. It's also foldable into a bag for travel, which is great when you need to transport it. The only negative our testers found is that the side panel did not flex as much compared to other models. This made it a little harder to observe your baby from the bed.
The Shnuggle Air
The Shnuggle Air bedside crib is a great choice if you want a crib that can grow with your child. It's a sleeper crib that is securely attached to your bed and can be turned into a stylish cot when your baby is old enough. It is ideal for feeding your baby at night and strengthening your bond with your new born.

Its dual-view mesh sides and breathable, hypo-allergenic airflow mattress maximise airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. The gentle slope can help ease reflux and colic. The kit for converting cots is also well designed, with clear instructions. It includes everything you require. It took us about an hour to assemble and was fairly simple to put together. The only downside was the lack of written captions on a few of the images which made it difficult to understand some of the steps. Overall, the process was easy and the materials used were of top quality.
The Shnuggle Air is a great option for mothers who are nursing or have had C-sections. It lets them reach out and touch their baby to comfort them and feeding without having to leave their bed. It's also great for those who prefer not to go through the difficulty of getting into and out of a traditional cot, or placing their baby down for a nap.
In our tests, we found the gliding motion of this next to me crib to be especially beneficial in helping babies fall asleep after feedings at night and midday. The drop-down side is also easily accessed to feed or calm babies in the middle of the night this was a huge benefit for our exhausted test mothers. The Joie Roomie Glide is a elegant and practical crib that isn't rocking, nor has extra features like a sound machine.
